Nudibranch

Why are slugs on land so ugly and slimy, while underwater they are gorgeous?
Images from National Geographic. Check out another gallery here. This pink guy looks like a living squishy Lite Brite.

Under the sea

From a makeup fashion show in Beijing in 2007. Designing these costumes would be the most awesome job ever.

Sparkely sparkles

I'm so glad glitz is in because I love gaudy shiny everything. I'm not sure how I feel about Drew Barrymore having slugs crawling on her dress, but they are interesting as sculptural pieces. Anna Paquin looks hot in Stella McCartney. This dress reminds me of the ones below, I have them on my computer but I don't remember who the designer was so please feel free to let me know.

Spirits

I like to think Brendon Monroe's sculptures are releasing the spirits of the wood. They look like floated out of a Miyazaki film.

Monsters

It's hard to tell who started the one eye monster trend in the plushy world, but Diane Koss's monsters are my favorite because she put so much thought into the styling and the special little details like the monsters' bird friends that have nested in their horns.

Pooping marshmallows

I hope this shirt is reprinted again because it's pretty much the most amazing piece of art that has been created in my lifetime.

More Cake!

I'm not sure what the story is behind this cake, but it is pretty awesome despite the fact that it's supposed to be a zombie. I'll just think of it as roadkill. I found it here.
